OUr Philosophy
At RCD Espanyol De Barcelona Academy Texas, our programs are built on the modern Spanish way of playing soccer, called “tiki-taka” or “Juego de posición” (positional play)”. This approach focuses on excellent ball skills, smart thinking on the field, and smooth teamwork.
Our training method concentrates on two main things:
1. Exceptional ball control and accurate passing
2. Advanced field awareness and smart decision-making
This philosophy draws inspiration from the success of top Spanish clubs and the national team, known for their possession-based, creative style of play. It has been refined and implemented by elite academies across Spain, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and our own RCD Espanyol.
At Espanyol Academy, we believe that “mastery comes through practice, not privilege.” Our goal is to develop well-rounded players who are great with the ball and smart about the game.
